About the Initiative
When a postcard
touches the stars
Developed with Blue Origin's Club for the Future, Aakash Patra ("Letters To The Sky" in Hindi) gives children, especially those from underserved communities who never imagined connecting to global science, the chance to write to space.
The postcards fly aboard real Blue Origin missions. They return carrying a story: a child's dream was important enough to leave Earth.
For many students, it's the moment abstract science becomes deeply personal, and achievable.
How It Works

Students write postcards with their space dreams, questions, or visions.
Postcards are collected and prepared for flight.
Blue Origin carries them to space on a New Shepard mission.
Postcards return to the students, now space-flown artefacts.
Students share their experience, impacting their whole community.
